Soraie IGT Veneto Cecilia Beretta 2022

The Cecilia Beretta Soraie IGT Veneto is an innovative red wine that aims to put a new spin on the traditional winemaking technique called 'appassimento', which is used to make the famous Amarone wines of the Veneto region. This red wine is a Corvina blend that includes local and international grapes including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich, velvety and round on the palate, with flavours of black plums, black cherry, vanilla and a moreish chocolaty finish, it's a great accompaniment to roasted red meats and ragus. Soraie is more accessible and affordable than the great Amarone wines, but retains much of the character.
