We were approached by Alastair from Inver Spirits when he visited our shop to propose the sale of Sláinte Highland Whisky, a new brand that was launched in early 2019 to promote whisky & tartan together.

The Sláinte Highland Single Malt Whisky is from an un-named Highland distillery; however, we were extremely impressed by this inoffensive soft whisky. So much so we have used it in Blind Tasting for our Dramnoch Whisky Club, and it achieved the highest score against 5 other well-known malt whiskies.

Due to the feedback from our club members we then approached Neil Hampton at Royal Dornoch Golf Club and discussed creating an exclusive bottle to be sold by the Golf Club and in our store. Royal Dornoch Golf Club have been a fantastic support of our shop since we opened, and we are incredibly grateful to have their support with this product.

As well as the Royal Dornoch Golf Club bottling, we have created exclusive bottlings for Embo House and the Tanya Horne School of Highland Dancing, both available to purchase through our website below.

If you would like to have our own Sláinte created, with your own tartan then just double check with the Scottish Register of Tartans that your chosen tartan does not have any restrictions.

For labels to be printed by Inver Spirits there is an 18-bottle minimum order or if you want to try this lovely soft single malt, please click the button below.

"It has always been fun working with the Carnegie Whisky Cellars and when approached about a new project that would work in tandem for both of us, then I was eager to find out more. While we already have a special label whisky, our Captain’s Malt, incorporating out tartan, crest and name onto something that will appeal to and reach a much wider audience through the Carnegie Whisky Cellars was an easy decision to make. Working with Michael and the team from Sláinte couldn’t have been simpler with everyone agreeing the principles and process at the outset and working together to produce a fantastic end result. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone and everyone to visit and work with the Carnegie Whisky Cellars."
